This week's stitching

I started and finished Fright and made a start on brew.  There are just 3 to go after brew and I'm hoping to to get at least one of them done along with brew this next week.

And for the first time in a couple of months I've worked on 4 seasons sampler and almost finished the floral band.  I've really missed this one and will give it's lots of TLC once the halloween flip its are done

What I did over the weekend

I spent my weekend working on my early Christmas present from my family and DBF.
I saw the completed one at the bead fair in July and fell in love.

The class was being run by Oak Tree Crafts so I had an early start on Saturday but it was so worth it.

I did mean to take a pic of the kit but forgot with being so eager to start!

So this is at the end of Saturday when I got to my B&B

Sunday morning before class after I spent all Sat night working on it, I would of had more done but I'd used the wrong black on the last row so the red wasn't sitting right and looked a real mess so spent a couple of hours undoing and redoing it and it's so much better now.

And at the end of Sunday

I still have a fair bit to do on it but should hopefully be done in a week or so.

Sunday evening back at home I managed a little bit of progress on Caleb's birth sampler

Halloween Flip It's

I realised a couple of days ago when working on this that I hadn't shared an update for a while so here it is.
I'm over half way now and in case your thinking they look a little odd it's because I've not put the buttons on yet I'll do that when I finish.

Weekend update, travelling pattern and a favour

First up is my weekend progress on Caleb's Birth Sampler, apart from the name panel it's almost done.
I've got a few more stripes to do, a bit of the border and backstitch so I could be done in a couple of weeks.

I've done the draw for the next person to have the Travelling pattern visit with them and it's off to McKenna.  Drop me an email with your info and I'll get it on it's way to you.

Now the favour.
I have a friend who is scared of heights but has decided to jump out of a plane and Sky Dive!!!!
She's doing it because her Mum is currently going through treatment for Breast Cancer and she wants to do her bit to find a cure.
So please if you can spare a £ or two she'd be very grateful

Thank You x

TUSAL time

It's time to share my orts again :)
This time I've added ones from Beguiling tiger, Count You Blessings, Winter Wonderland, Caleb's Birth Sampler, Halloween Flip It's, Namaste, some good old fashioned sewing cotton and of course various colours of nymo etc from beading.

A rare event took place today!
Not only did Millie decide that she wanted to sit on my lap but Rosie got jealous and joined in

I'll do the draw for the travelling pattern tomorrow evening so go comment if you want to be in with a chance.

Travelling pattern finished

After having a very busy week last week and not picking any stitching up at all a couple of days I finally finished Count Your Blessings on Monday.
I really enjoyed stitching this and I'm sure the next person to have it will as well.

I used a piece of Misty Morn from Sparklies which is much bluer than in the pic and all the called for colours apart from subbing WDW Bordeaux and GAST Briar Rose for GAST Claret and Grape Arbour.

It means of course that the pattern is ready to move on it's next destination.
Leave a comment if you'd like it visit with you next but remember you have to be able to stitch and pass it on within a reasonable amount of time.

Weekend progress

I had flat batteries in my camera so this is a couple of days later than I thought it'd be.
Not much progress this week but it all counts.

I may be quieter than normal over the next few weeks, I'm going to have to move sometime in the near future so have a house to pack
